Carbondale's Super Splach Park is inviting families from Du Quoin to beat the heat in a fun and save some money on admission Wednesday, July 12.
The pool, located at 625 S. Lewis Lane, will offer Du Quoin residents $1 off their admission that day in a bid to better expose area residents to the facilities amenities, which include a lazy river, a curved water slide, a beach-style leisure pool with interactive play structures, and an eight-lane lap pool with diving boards.
On Du Quoin's community day, admission will be $4 per youth 17 and under, $6.50 for adults and $5.25 for seniors 55 and over. Weekday hours are from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Community days also are planned for Murphysboro, Marion, Benton and Harrisburg residents.
