KICKSTARTING A FUTURE

Avery Potter (center) and Mason Wills (right), both from Benton Consolidated High School, count out money during the 'Reality Store' session of the 'Kickstart Your Journey' event last week at Rend Lake College. The event was designed to get high school freshmen and sophomores thinking about college. The students attended several sessions while on campus focusing on higher education, goal setting, dual-credit and dual-enrollment opportunities and financial aid.
