TRIVIA FOR A CAUSE

Joe Johnson looks on as friends and family watch a movie clip and try to guess the movie it's from during a trivia night fundraiser on Saturday. The event was one of several being held by Johnson's family and friends to help him raise the $25,000 cost of a diabetic alert dog. Johnson is a type I diabetic and recently broke his shoulder after a fall during a low sugar episode. Johnson's family hopes the dog will ease their minds and allow Johnson to safely maintain an independent style of living. About 100 family and friends gathered for the event at Community of Christ Church in Thompsonville.
