- What makes Evie so special?
Susan Krapf: This is my second year to work with Evie in the junior high band. She is a good flute player with a wonderful personality. When confronted with a difficult part in the music, she does not back away. She works on it. Sometimes Evie will come in before school and practice these parts. She has the ability to work hard, laugh at her mistakes and fix the problems. Her smile and laughter make my day brighter. Evie is a key member of the band, and it is a privilege to work with her every day. I am glad she is a part of my life.

Evie: Math.
- What is your favorite thing to do in school?
Evie: Play the flute.

Evie: Read.

Evie: Cassandra Clare

Evie: The Flash -- because he is kinda clumsy like me.
