Daughters of Dorcas hold March meeting

The March meeting of the Daughters of Dorcas was held March 7 at the Church of the Nazarene. 
The meeting was called to order by President Marge Saxe at 5 p.m. and was opened with a prayer by Marsha Webb. 
After a brief business meeting, Adella Rhine gave the devotion on the word "passion." She spoke of how people can be passionate about a variety of things such as family, friends, loyalty, helping people and serving the country. 
The main event of the evening was the annual auction. Members donated items to be auctioned, and then other members bid on and bought them. Proceeds from the auction will help with the annual spring banquet in May. 
Lottie Toler gave our closing prayer.
The next meeting will be at 5 p.m. Tuesday, April 4 at the church and will be open to all women who wish to be a part of this women's ministry.
