STONEBRIDGE CROWNS ROYALTY

  • Stonebridge Senior Living Center in Benton celebrated Valentine's Day by crowning its royalty for 2017. Retired coal miner Robert Hammond, 86, was crowned as the Valentine King, while Annalee Gilbreath, 92, was named Queen. Each received a crown. Gilbreath received a bouquet of flowers, while Hammond was given a heart-shaped box of chocolates that he promised not to 'eat all at once.' The royalty was voted on by their fellow residents, staff, family and friends. Marissa Green, who works in housekeeping at the facility, said Gilbreath 'is the sweetest lady ever.' After the coronation, residents, staff and visitors were treated to a reception of sweet treats and punch.
