Ducks Unlimited to host Super Gun Raffle

The Southern Illinois Ducks Unlimited chapter will host its annual gun bash Saturday, Feb. 18 at the Du Quoin State Fairgrounds Exhibition Hall to help raise funds for the organization’s wetlands and waterfowl conservation mission.
The event will begin at 11 a.m., and a $20 ticket will get participants in the 50-gun raffle and entry to the event, plus food and beverages. Winning tickets will be re-entered into the gun raffle, and participants don’t need to be present to win.
Ticket prices are $20 in advance or $25 at the door.
“This event provides for an exciting day along with many opportunities to win guns,” said Trevor Hickman, DU regional director. “The local support of DU ensures continued support of wetland projects and will leave a legacy of conservation for years to come.”
