The Franklin County Sheriff's Office requests help in identifying two men who police believe scammed an elderly woman in the Whittington area.
According to Sheriff Donald Jones, the two men solicited a $300.00 check on Thursday to blacktop and reseal the woman's driveway.
She paid them in advance, the sheriff reported, and the check was cashed but the men did not perform the work.
One of the men is described as a tall white male in his 60s with gray hair. The only description of the second man is that he is a white male in his 5Os. The truck they were in is only described as white.
