Dennis Carl Parker, 64, of Benton, passed away Saturday, April 2, 2016, at 11:45 pm in the Illinois Veterans Home in Quincy surrounded by his family.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy (Stewart) Parker of Benton; daughter, Leann (Parker) Stilley and husband Jason; grandson, River Hagen Stilley of Paducah; brother, Roy Parker and wife Lulu; sister Shalyn (Parker) Settlemoir and husband Curt all of Benton as well as nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy Lee and Yulanda (Rector) Parker, father and mother in law, Jim and Ann Stewart, nieces, Emily and Ann Parker, nephew, Jason Settlemoir.
Mr. Parker was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Immanuel Baptist Church in Benton with Rev. Mark Minor & Rev. Ron Cremeens officiating. Burial with Military Rites will be in Masonic-Oddfellows Cemetery in Benton.
Visitation will be from noon - 2 p.m. Saturday at the Church.
Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association. Morton and Johnston Funeral Home in Benton is in charge of arrangements.
