Dr. and Mrs. Robin LaBuwi are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Emily LaBuwi, to Mr. David Landry. David is the son of Becky and Mark Landry of Knippa, Texas.
The couple will be married in Austin, Texas, this May.
Emily is a 2000 graduate of Benton High School. She received her bachelor’s degree in education at Eastern Illinois University and graduated summa cum laude. Emily has been employed as a kindergarten teacher in Austin the past four years.
David is a 2000 graduate of Knippa High School. He graduated from Texas A&M University-Kingsville in 2004 with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. David is an assistant vice president at Frost Bank in downtown Austin.
