Thursday, March 18
• All-you-care-to-eat Chili and Soup Supper, 4 to 7 p.m., Benton First Church of God, corner of Bailey Lane and Grand Avenue. Includes chili, soup, drinks, desserts and more. Carry-outs are available.
Friday, March 19
• Franklin County Spring Child Find Screening, 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Sesser-Valier Elementary School.
The Class of 1957 and the Class of 1959 will be holding their March class luncheon at 11:30 a.m. at Gibby’s on the Green.         
• The BCHS Class of 1960 50th Reunion planning meeting will meet at noon at the Thompsonville Cafe in Thompsonville. Meeting takes place right after lunch. All classmates are encouraged to attend.

• Benton First Church of the Nazarene's weekend youth revival. Speaker will be Jim "Big Chap" Chapman from Big Chap Ministries (www.bigchap.org). Also featured will be All Things New, an energetic music ministry team from Olivet Nazarene University. Service times: Friday and Saturday, 7 p.m., and Sunday, 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. Everyone is welcome. A free youth (ages 12-18) pizza party is planned for after the service on Friday.
Saturday, March 20
• Third annual Arthritis Foundation Poker Run. Breakfast runs from 8 to 11 a.m. at Sesser Goode Masonic Lodge. Registration for the poker run begins at 10 a.m. Activities conclude at the Sesser VFW. For more information, contact Connie Flowers at 927-7412 or Joyce Gunter at 927-6764.

• Benton Kiwanis Club Spring Pork BBQ, 11:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., Kiwanis Hall, 414 W. Hudelson St., Benton. Advance tickets not required. A BBQ one-half chicken dinner will also be served from 4:30 to 7 p.m.; advance sale only for chicken dinner. Eat-in and carry-out available. Tickets are available at Flowers by Dave until March 15. • Free "Rules of the Road" Review Course, 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., West Frankfort Senior Center, 225 E. Poplar.

• The West Franklin Historical District and Silkwood Inn Museum will be holding a Chili Supper and Open House, 5 to 7 p.m., 2130 Schoolhouse Road, Mulkeytown. The event is free and open to the public. (Donations accepted.)
