• The 1949 graduating class of West Frankfort High School will have their monthly lunch, 10:30 a.m., Lola's Café, West Frankfort.
• The Benton Booster Club and BCHS cheerleaders will be selling boneless pork chop sandwiches during the Rend Lake Water Festival Parade. Sandwiches, chips and soda will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, May 8, at the Peoples National Bank parking lot on the north side of the Benton Public Square. Carry-outs are available.
