Winner: Kolby had a great first day in kindergarten!! His favorite things from today were: 1. Playing Tic-Tac-Toe. 2. Recess. 3. Making play-doh animals, and of course.... 4. LUNCH!!! Du Quoin Elementary School 2017, and he has Ms. Stratton as his teacher!

School is back in session - exciting times for children and relief for their parents. Our Back to School Photo Contest elicited some pretty nice shots, and we chose two winners.
Winning families get two all-day carnival passes for the Du Quoin State Fair, which they can use any day they choose.
