Three teens from Saline and Gallatin counties took home first-place wins from the Illinois Church of God Teen Talent 2017 earlier this spring in Bethalto and will compete in the International Church of God Teen Talent 2017 next month in Cleveland, Tennessee.
Isaac Murray, 15, and Caleb Murray, 13, both of Eldorado, and Addison Bean, 13, of Ridgway performed as a group to sing "Beulah Land," winning first place in the small vocal ensemble category.
Caleb sang lead, while Isaac and Addison sang harmony. The three are members of the group Fresh Anointing. Isaac plays piano, while Caleb plays guitar.
Also, Isaac won first place in the piano instrumental category for his performance of "Wake Up" by All Sons and Daughters.
Isaac, Caleb and Addison are members of Eldorado Church of God and part of the praise and worship team.
