MARION -- Many area churches host Vacation Bible Schools for one week during the summer. Marion's Third Baptist Church is no different. Close to 100 children of varying ages are taught life lessons as applied to Bible study.

"Our title this year is Galactic Starveyors and we're going to learn about the creator of the universe and how you can use the visible to understand the invisible things about God," Bible School director Dana Stuart said.

They also participate in games and have refreshments, making the week one they won't soon forget.
