Perry County CEO to host Trivia Night fundraiser

PINCKNEYVILLE -- Perry County CEO, an organization of junior and senior high school students interested in business careers, is having a fun-filled Trivia Night fundraiser at the Eagles Lodge-Annex Building at 13 S. Walnut St. in Pinckneyville on Saturday, Jan. 12. Doors will open at 6 p.m.and trivia begins at 6:30. Teams of eight will compete at a cost of $100 per team.

Perry CEO will be using this fundraiser for seed money to launch its individual businesses.

What is Perry CEO?

• Funded by business investors in Perry County

• Open to Perry County high school juniors and seniors

• Meets 90 minutes each day in area businesses (not school)

• Provides community college credits

• Visits to dozens of area businesses and learn from guest speakers

• Develop a network of contacts across the country

• Develop and run a class business together

• Start and run their own individual business

• Host an annual spring Trade Show

The group is asking for donations for the silent auction portion of the trivia night fundraiser. Also, Those interested in having a team, call to reserve a table.

Perry County CEO members to date include: Noah Conner, Collin Dixon, Lucas Downard, Macy Epplin, Christian Feltmeyer, Jeremy Graves, James Lamke, Grant Tanner and Logan Wildermuth.
