This calendar is intended to be the crossroads of Benton area and southern Illinois activities and entertainment; therefore it is free to browse and it is free to post events. Are you a club, a church or a school that has plays, exhibits, concerts, sporting events and more to promote? Are you a nonprofit, a library, a government, with events to share? Get those events posted yourself.
When you add an event to this calendar you are sharing it with readers in your backyard and across southern Illinois. Our listings enable you to say what YOU want to say. Make a mistake, or has something changed? Just go in and alter your listing.
All listings are free and it takes just a couple of minutes. You can add a photo, logo, website and more. We ask only that what you post is in good taste. There is no limit to how many events you can post.
If you want to raise your event into a more prominent position, you can do that for a nominal fee. Advertising spots are also available on the site.
How to use the events calendar: When you open the calendar you start with events within a 15-mile radius of Benton. You can expand that radius to cover the whole region, or narrow it to just Benton.
