Q What company do you obtain your essential oils from?
doTERRA, which is now the number one essential oil company in the world. We are a very trusted company and our retention rate is 65 percent. They're great oils, great quality, but we also have great customer service that keeps people coming back.
Q Do you have a favorite oil?
Personally, my favorite product is not an essential oil, it is our vitamins. The vitality pack vitamins contain nine different essential oils. There are no synthetics whatsoever in the vitamins, and because of that your body is able to utilize all of the vitamins, nutrients, and minerals appropriately. When, your body is able to do that, your energy levels are so much greater.
Q How safe are essential oils to use around pets?
In the fall, doTERRA announced they were putting together a veterinary advisory board for the company. These include spokespeople that practice veterinary medicine and show that whenever you are using a certified therapeutic grade essential oil it is completely safe to use on animals and around animals.
Q What are the top oils you would recommend having on hand?
The top 5 oils that everybody needs -- whether they are 2, 82, male or female, I would recommend Frankincense, On Guard, Lemon, Oregano and Melaleuca (Tea Tree). They are versatile and can be used all year round for all types of issues, including your immune system; they have anything from antibacterial, to anti-fungal, to anti-viral properties.
