A Monday traffic stop by a Randolph County Sheriff's deputy led to the arrest of 27-year-old Jordan L. Bunn, of Sparta, on drug charges.
According to a news release from the sheriff's office, Bunn was stopped for driving an unregistered dirt bike on the roadway with no insurance.
During the stop, the sheriff's office K-9 deputy, Dano, conducted a "free air sniff" of Bunn's property.
Meth ice, drug packaging materials, a scale, drug paraphernalia and other items were allegedly found in Bunn's possession.
Bunn has been charged with unlawful possession with intent to deliver 15 or more grams, but less than 100 grams, of methamphetamine. It is a Class X felony, with a punishment range (upon conviction) of six to 30 years in prison.
Bunn was also charged with unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and traffic offenses. He was transported to the Randolph County Jail, where he remained incarcerated as of Friday morning.
Bunn's bond was set at $75,000.
