HARRISBURG -- Harrisburg Kiwanis will host a fundraiser at 7 p.m. Saturday featuring well-known entertainer Dennis Stroughmatt at the Harrisburg city auditorium on the third floor of City Hall.

Stroughmatt, from Albion, has a new show he has performed throughout the area -- a tribute to classic country singer Ray Price and Price's band The Cherokee Cowboys.

Stroughmatt's show features the influences of Western swing musician Bob Wills and Hank Williams, plus Cherokee Cowboys alumni Willie Nelson, Johnny Bush, Roger Miller and Buddy Spicher.

The show is a combination of music and narration.

The 500-seat Harrisburg city auditorium is newly remodeled with new heating and air conditioning, new chairlifts for access and new windows. There also is a larger stage and all-new paint.

Tickets are $15, which includes coffee, water, soft drinks and snacks at intermission. Tickets can be purchased from any Kiwanian or at the door.
