3 arrested in meth lab raid

Harrisburg Police arrested three suspects in a raid of a meth lab at 8:30 a.m. Sunday at 315 Walnut St. in Harrisburg.

Police were alerted when a concerned citizen called and said that the smell of ether was present at the address, according to Chief Bob Smith.

Arrested and charged were:

Wendell Gene Barger, 24, 1016 Campground Road, Ridgway, on charges of manufacture of methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, two counts of possession of a controlled substance and possession of narcotics instrument. He is held at the Saline County Detention Center on a parole hold.

Amanda Michele Price, 20, 1010 Murphy St., Eldorado, on charges of failure to appear in both Saline and Pope counties. She remains held in the Saline County Detention Center jail on a $1,575 cash bond.

Winifred Marie Wright, 21, 804 Big Four St., Eldorado, on a charge of possession of a narcotics instrument (hypodermic needle). She remains held in the Saline County Detention Center jail awaiting an appearance before a judge.
