    • Easter Sunrise Service, 6:30 a.m., First Free Will Baptist Church, 1208 E. Bond St., Benton. Come and worship our risen Savior!
    • The Immanuel Baptist Church hosts an Easter Sunday Service for the community at the newly remodeled Benton Civic Center, 10 a.m., 414 W. Hudelson St. With a heart to Live Love and impact the community, Immanuel invites anyone who doesn’t have a church home to join them on Easter to celebrate the resurrection of the risen Savior. The Immanuel Choir & Orchestra will lead an upbeat celebratory worship. Pastor Sammy Simmons will preach on how the resurrection of Christ can provide hope for us today.

    • Eighth annual Trivia Night, 7 p.m., Sesser-Valier High School Commons. Fundraiser for S-V girls' track and volleyball teams. Ten categories and 10 questions (100 questions total); 10-person team maximum. Open to high school students and adults. Cost: $10 for each adult, $5 for each high school student. Prizes will be determined at event; prizes for best decorated table. Raffles will take place during event. Contact Rachel Schwartzkopf, 625-5105, with your entry.
