Ewing Warriors play tonight for regional title

The Ewing Warriors advanced to the Bluford Class S Regional championship game with a 40-29 triumph over Dodds Friday.

Ewing will take on host Bluford tonight for the regional title.

Bryden Picklesimer scored nine of the Warriors’ first-quarter points as they build a narrow 11-10 lead. Ewing was up 21-18 at halftime and 30-23 after three.

Picklesimer finished with a game-high 23 points for Ewing, which got six points from Gavin Richardson, five from Neal Carlton, four from Morris and two from Matt Rieger.

Walker Brockhouse scored a team-high 10 points for Dodds.
