  • Obituary: GWINEVA ODLE, Benton

  • Gwineva Odle, 51, of Benton passed away Sunday afternoon, Nov. 25, 2012, at her home. Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 29, at Morton & Johnston Funeral Home in Benton, with the Rev. Rick McClintock officiating. Visitation will be after 5 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. She was born in Benton on Aug. 11, 1961, the daughter of Loran and Phyllis (Holmes) McClintock. She married Dennis Odle on Sept. 21, 1980, and he survives. Mrs. Odle was of the Pentecostal faith. She was co-owner of Benton Bowl and a dietician in the health care field. Mrs. Odle is survived by her husband, Dennis Odle of Benton; mother, Phyllis McClintock of Benton; four daughters, Miki Odle and Randy Pulliam of Benton, Amanda Odle of Sarasota, Fla., Amy Mitchell and Billy Te of Benton, and Jamy Odle of Benton; grandchildren, Baylen Lampley, Denni Durbin, Tanner Corn, Macy Fee (who Gwin helped raise), Spencer Alderson, Adan Te (Puddin Pop) and Jayla Alderson; great-granddaughter, Addyson Lampley; a brother, Rick McClintock and fiancé, Peggy, of West Frankfort; two sisters, Wendy McGlasson and husband, Jerry, of Benton and Rose Gosnell and husband, Allan, of Tennessee; mother-in-law, Jane Taylor and husband, Jim, of Benton; father-in-law, Ed Odle of Benton; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. Odle was preceded in death by her father and a sister, Vivian.
