To the editor:
Gas station owners or somebody just can't stand for the general public to have a break.
Don't get me wrong, it is great that gas prices are down tremendously. The point I?want to make is we are still getting gouged at the pump. A couple weeks ago, oil went up about seven to ten dollars a barrel and gas was raised 20 cents THE?SAME?DAY. Oil prices did not stay there. Oil is back down to $37 a barrel and gas prices are now 40 cents a gallon higher than two weeks ago.
I?understand wholesale market price of gas has gone up while oil has dropped. Wholesale gas has gone up 17 to 20 cents a gallon, our price has gone up 40 cents. Why??They can stick it to us while gas is cheap, believing we are thankful it's not $4.00 a gallon.
